9 in 10 Mobile Web Users Have Switched to a Competitor’s Better Site

    Notes: Mobile site experiences are failing to keep up with visitors’ expectations, details NetBiscuits in a survey of 6,000 mobile web users across 6 countries. The study finds that almost all respondents have at some point experienced difficulties such as: an inability complete a desired action (96%); difficulty entering information (95%); and difficulty finding what they’re looking for (95%). Moreover, 91% have used a better mobile site from a competitor instead of the one they were trying to use, with 30% of those saying they do so often or very often.

        About the Data: Based on a survey of 6,000 mobile web users from Brazil, China, Germany, India, the UK, and the USA. The survey was managed by Populus and ran from August 21 to September 4, 2014.
