      Notes: From a list of 5 options (Facebook, Google, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram), a plurality 24% of 18-29-year-old survey respondents chose Facebook as the one website, social network or app that they could not live without. Facebook was leaps and bounds ahead of both Twitter and Instagram (3% each), but was tied with Twitter among respondents enrolled in high school (13% each). Meanwhile, more respondents this year are using a variety of social networks, with Facebook (84%) the leader, followed by Google+ (44%), Twitter (40%), Instagram (36%), Pinterest (33%), Snapchat (23%) and Tumblr (14%).

          About the Data: The interviewing period for the survey of 3,058 18-29-year-olds was March 22 to April 4, 2014. The margin of error for the poll is +/- 1.8 percentage points at the 95 percent confidence level.
